We invite you to join us On the First Tuesday, November 4, with Gennaro Buonocore.
PVUMC Member and published author Gennaro Buonocore is one of the facilitators of The Jesus Fatwah class that meets on Wednesdays, and will speak On the First Tuesday, November 4, following dinner prepared by Garry Lozier at 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Center. Gennaro is author of Failure of the European Multiculturalism – The Islamist Crusade (2012) and The Afghan Paradox (2014). His books will be available for purchase at the event, as well as at the church gift shop, Serendipities, open Wednesdays in November, 9 am-1 pm and 5-7 pm, and Sunday mornings, 9 am-12:30 pm. The books are priced below retail, at $15 each, and all proceeds go to PVUMC missions.
Gennaro’s 2012 book is currently rumored to be the most widely read piece of literature in the corridors of the Pentagon since it offers a fresh and targeted perspective on what is now happening in Syria, Iraq and Libya. Gennaro’s analysis is being sought by the U.S. intelligence community to predict potential conflicts. As a military reservist, he has served a number of tours as a Civil Affairs officer in both Iraq and Afghanistan. That experience, combined with his 24-year career in the investment banking sector, operating in 28 different countries while specializing in capital markets and development finance, make him uniquely qualified to shed light on ISIS. All are welcome to join us for dinner (donations appreciated) followed by conversation with Gennaro, and a book signing. To reserve childcare, please call 602-840-8360, ext 134, at least 48 hours before this event. To read more about Gennaro, and his books, go to http://www.gennarobuonocore.com/.
