PVUMC’s Vacation Bible Camp is scheduled for July 13-17, 2015, 9 am-12 noon. Our Cokesbury program is called “G-Force” and focuses on how we can be God’s love in action. Pray about how you might be able to support our efforts to reach children and parents through this annual camp that includes storytelling, crafts, science, recreation and music centers. Contact Brenda Smith, firstname.lastname@example.org, with questions or to volunteer.
The theme and key Bible verse fit perfectly into the PVUMC Mission and Vision — it’s a God thing!

Cokesbury’s G-Force: God’s Love in Action program equips kids to explore how to put their faith into action. In this mission-focused VBS inspired by Bible verse Acts 17:28a “In God we live, move, and exist,” participants learn that a life with God is one of movement. Kids experience God’s unstoppable love while discovering how to fuel up and move in and through life with God.
With G-Force, churches will come alive with movement and images of a variety of kid-friendly transportation such as skateboards, running shoes, and roller blades. They’ll watch the G-Force Meter, climb illustrating how God is at work around the world and how God’s people are on the move. Each of the five sessions’ action words (Move! Act! Care! Follow! Share!) sparks a way to show God’s unstoppable love. And every session includes Faith Fuel (Bible stories), Velocity Verses (memory verses), and Action Words (key learnings).
Register by June 30 to avoid late fees. The cost is just $35/student or $70/maximum per family. Optional extended day is available for 1st-6th graders for an additional $20/day with preregistration.
Registration forms will be available on March 1, 2015, the same day Imagine That! Summer Camp begins its registration. VBC immediately follows Session II of Imagine That!
