On the First Tuesday: April 7 and May 5
Join us On the First Tuesday, April 7 in the Fellowship Center for dinner at 5:30 p.m., and conversation following with PVUMC member and Cuban immigrant, George Heredia.
He will speak about “Cuba from an Immigrant’s Perspective,” recalling how he left Cuba in 1966 and emigrated to the US by way of Spain. His family settled in New Jersey, he graduated from Princeton University, and has had a successful career in chemical engineering and business. He and his wife, Elaine, moved to Phoenix in the 1980s, where they started a family and George helped start a company. Since retiring, George has been an active leader with our youth group, working with them on mission and service projects. He and his wife recently returned from the church’s mission trip to Costa Rica, where they helped with Vacation Bible School and built housing.
On Tuesday, May 5, Patrick Rehse, who founded ART — Architectural Resource Team — with his wife, Louise, will be our featured speaker. To read more about their company, go to www.art-team.com.
