Join us for a cool night of Jazz at the Perk Patio at 7 pm on Friday, April 17. We welcome The Joe Costello Project with vocalist Kaufee Johnson. To read more about the jazz quartet, visit their facebook page. We’ll also have a children’s movie showing in the Fellowship Center (Big Hero 6), so bring the whole family!

The Paradise Perk will be open, serving some of the best coffee, tea and smoothies in town, at some of the best prices. Shannon Curkendoll, our volunteer manager, and her crew of youth helpers, will greet you with a smile. Their customer service is top-notch! Light snacks will also be available. Proceeds from your Perk purchases fund our youth ministries and mission programs.

Our outdoor patio has some tables and chairs, so get there early if you’d like to grab a table for you and your guests. We also encourage you to bring your own chairs, and if your children are watching the movie, they’re invited to bring pillows, blankets or cushions for comfortable floor seating. We’ll also provide some big cushions in F5/6. Please note that our campus is smoke-free and alcohol/drug-free.

This is the final concert in our free Community Concert Series, so you don’t want to miss it! Check back in September when we announce the line up for next year’s series. This year, we’ve offered a variety of music performances, from jazz to classical, and country to opera. There’s something for everyone.

No tickets are necessary to attend this free event, but we encourage you to register via our Eventbrite site, which provides sharing via social media and email invitations:

Children are welcome at all of our concerts, but this one has an added bonus: we’re showing Big Hero 6 in the Fellowship Center for children age 5 and up. We’ll also offer free childcare for your little ones; simply call 602-840-8360, ext 134 to make your reservation at least 48 hours in advance. Call the number again if you need to cancel.

We will take a free-will offering in support of the series at the event, and all proceeds from Perk purchases support our youth ministries.
