For the last few weeks, we have been studying the book, The God We Can Know, Exploring the I AM statements of Jesus. We have heard Jesus say things like “I am the Bread of Life,” “I am the Good Shepherd,” and “I am the Resurrection and the Life.” We have retold and experienced the story of the unconditional love of the cross and the eternal hope of the Resurrection. Through the sayings, the life and the ministry of Jesus, we have the most perfect glimpse of the true nature of God. This is indeed a God we can know. It is also a God we can’t NOT know.

As the people of God that live on this side of the Resurrection, we can’t unknow these things. They tell us who we are individually and collectively. We know now how God truly feels about us and what is asked of us in response to that knowledge. Join us this week as we look at what that means to us in a world that sometimes will try to give us such a different message.

See you Sunday!
