St. Mary’s Foodbank and Project Cure service days have restarted this fall, and we invite you to join us for these monthly volunteer opportunities.
Every month, a group of volunteers travels to St. Mary’s Foodbank on the second Wednesday of the month and to Project Cure on the third Wednesday. A special service day has also been set to help with food distribution at St. Mary’s Foodbank for Thanksgiving. If you can help on a regular basis, or on the special service day, Tuesday, November 24, please contact Tony Book at 602-361-8605 or by email (firstname.lastname@example.org). We are hoping to have a good turnout for the special service day, and always welcome new volunteers. If you would like to carpool to St. Mary’s, please meet at 8 am at the south parking lot, next to where the church vans are parked. For Project Cure, meet at 8:30 am in the same place.
For the special service day, we are meeting at the church vans earlier than usual, at 6:45 am, because the shift begins at St. Mary’s at 8 am. We should be done by 11:30 a.m. Thank you for being God’s love in action, especially at Thanksgiving.
