Every month, PVUMC offers an opportunity to pack meals for starving children around the world at the Feed My Starving Children Mesa warehouse, located at:

Mesa Fiesta Building
1345 South Alma School Road
Mesa, AZ 85210

Join us in 2016 on Saturday, January 16, 4:30-6:30 pm; Monday, February 15 (President’s Day), 3:30-5:30 pm; Monday, March 21, 6-8 pm; Saturday, April 16, 7-9 pm and Saturday, May 14, 4:30-6:30 pm. Throughout the summer, and into the fall, our monthly packing time is always 4:30-6:30 pm on these dates: June 11, July 16, August 13 and September 10.

To register to participate, email Jim Bateman, jnbateman@aol.com, and include your name, the number of adults and children, a contact phone number and an email address. Feed My Starving Children asks for a donation at the event, but there is no fee or obligation other than to serve. Donate as the spirit moves you. Each meal costs 22 cents to produce, and several hundred are packed during the two-hour packing session.

Unique gifts are available at the FMSC Marketplace. Watch this video below to see one man’s story about how making and selling wreaths has helped him feed his family and keep his children in school.

Click here to buy a vine wreath like the ones John makes, and see what else you may be able to purchase at the FMSC marketplace. Your purchases help these artisans in Africa and in other places where people are trying to make a living with limited skills and materials.
