On April 5, 2016, Patrick Grady will join us for On the First Tuesday to facilitate a discussion on “Faith and Care for God’s Creation,” preceded by the film, Preaching for the Planet, with messages on how different faith traditions are called to address the environmental degradation of our planet.

Preaching for the Planet: Interfaith Messages On Global Warming

This is a trailer for our upcoming video that includes sermons from various faith traditions on the topic of climate change.

Discussion to follow will focus on issues raised by those faith leaders: environmental justice, food choice and global connections, as well as our individual and collective carbon footprint. People of faith must lend their voices to this dialogue. As Methodists, we are challenged by our own Book of Resolutions. Join us for insightful discussion, melding the spiritual and the Biblical, as together we explore our responsibility to be proactive environmental stewards.

Dinner is served at 5:30 pm; the speaker follows at 6 pm, with a Q&A at the end.
