“We joined PVUMC in January 2016 once it became clear that PVUMC is the welcoming, caring, and faithful community that we had been searching for,” said Chris Miller, who joined the church with his wife, Stacy, and two children, Madison and Carson. “We have found PVUMC to be the perfect fit for our family, and the church will provide the foundation of faith that we want for our children as they grow up.”
“We had been searching for a church home for quite some time,” he said, “and we immediately felt welcome at PVUMC. We were fortunate to have preexisting relationships with a few PVUMC members, and have enjoyed meeting other members as we get more involved with the church.” PVUMC Members and friends JP and Jenn Coughlin, and Jenn’s parents, Chris and Dave Henderson, invited the family to come to church, and they have been active participants in Sunday School, Ignite (11:15 am contemporary worship in the chapel), and in small groups.
“Our daughter, Madison, has been able to make new friends through Sunday School and Mini Singers,” Chris said. “We are also involved in a small dinner group with a few other couples. In the future, we look forward to the opportunity to serve others and help those in need that PVUMC is able to help facilitate.”
