Children are important at Paradise Valley United Methodist Church, and we offer year-round ministry programs for them. At 9:30 am, we offer our Summer Sunday Camp, with programming for Preschool-4th graders, June 4-August 13. Preschoolers may be taken directly to their classes, but the elementary students begin in worship with a Children’s Moment early in the service, then the children are invited to leave the sanctuary with their teachers to participate in the camp program. Children are escorted back at the end of the service, so you start and end in worship, as a family. On Communion Sundays, June 4 and August 6, children return to worship a little earlier to partake communion with their families.

If you are interested in volunteering to assist or lead one or more weeks this summer, please contact Brenda Smith, our children’s ministries director.

See our Upcoming Sermons page for the scriptures and sermons we have planned for May and June. We’ll be talking about how we can work together to be ONE church, then look at how we’re OVERBOOKED, and need to find time for our families to spend quality time together.

May 28 (Memorial Day weekend) and July 2 (Fourth of July weekend) are Family Sundays.

We invite you to worship with your children on Family Sundays, May 28 and July 2, 2017.

Praise Paks will be provided. As part of the family of God, all children are invited to receive communion.

A Preschool class is sometimes offered on these Sundays, but the older children will remain in worship.
