Every month, PVUMC offers an opportunity to pack meals for starving children around the world at the Feed My Starving Children Mesa warehouse, located at:

This fall, sign up to participate on one or more of the following Saturdays: September 9, October 14 and November 18, 4:30-6:30pm.

There will also be a special Fundraising MobilePack Event at the Phoenix Convention Center, December 1-3, 2017. The church plans to participate the afternoon of December 2. Check back in November for more details or check the events on the Paradise Valley UMC’s or FMSC’s Facebook page.

Register to participate in any or all of the packing events by emailing Jim Bateman, jnbateman@aol.com. Include your name, a contact phone number, the number of participants, and the names and emails of those over 18.

Feed My Starving Children asks for a donation at the event, but there is no fee or obligation other than to serve. Donate as the spirit moves you. Each meal costs 22 cents to produce, and several hundred are packed during the two-hour packing session. Many participants donate $50 based on the number of meals packed.
