On the first Sunday of the month, when we celebrate communion at the larger 9:30 am worship service in the sanctuary, we offer name tags to everyone who attends worship. The Learning and Living Ministry Team wanted to create community at PVUMC by asking folks to wear name tags so the communion servers can call you by name when you partake of the elements of the Lord’s Supper.

The team began Nametag Sunday as a way to help us get to know one another better, and encourage us to share which small groups we participate in, if any. Everyone is encouraged to be a part of Journeys, small groups at pvumc, as a way to create community, ignite faith and transform lives.
