Every month, PVUMC offers an opportunity to pack meals for starving children around the world at the Feed My Starving Children Mesa warehouse, located at:

Mesa Fiesta Building
1345 South Alma School Road
Mesa, AZ 85210

Sign up to participate on one or more of the following Saturdays this spring, summer and into fall: March 17, [no April packing date], May 19, June 16, July 21, August 18, September 15, October 20, and November 17, 4:30-6:30 pm.

Register to participate in any or all of the packing events by emailing PVUMC’s new volunteer FMSC coordinator, Debbie Doran, sirsnow1@cox.net. Include your name, a contact phone number, the number of participants, and the names and emails of those over 18.

Feed My Starving Children asks for a donation at the event, but there is no fee or obligation other than to serve. Donate as the spirit moves you. Each meal costs 22 cents to produce, and several hundred are packed during the two-hour packing session. Many participants donate $50 based on the number of meals packed.

FMSC Marketplace

Unique gifts are available at the FMSC Marketplace. Watch Elezajavena’s story below, as he describes how he is making beautiful clay crosses, which he can sell to feed his family, buy equipment, and send his children to school. He was a teacher but switched careers to make a living wage. His story is one of hope and perseverance.

Visit the online FMSC marketplace to see all the items available for purchase, from hats to cards and crosses. Find a perfect gift for Easter, Mother’s Day or for a special graduate in your life! Your purchases help the artisans make a living with limited skills and materials. Thank you for helping others. You are God’s love in action!
