You’re invited to the Paradise Perk’s Grand Reopening Celebration on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at 10:30 am. Celebrate recent improvements over the last six months, which include a new espresso machine, and celebrate the Curkendoll family’s six years as the Perk’s volunteer managers. Under their management, the Perk has raised more than $50,000 for youth missions!
The Paradise Perk’s tagline is Coffee with a Mission, and the on-site coffee shop at Paradise Valley United Methodist Church is proud to support youth missions one cup at a time. Thank you for being God’s love in action through your support of the Perk, where all proceeds benefit youth missions.
Stop by after the 9:30 am worship service and help us celebrate!
The church is grateful for donations given by an anonymous donor and for support provided by the PVUMC Foundation.
The Foundation will host its John Wesley Legacy Society Spring Luncheon at 12:30 pm the same day. Read more.
Bill Howard, co-chair of the Welcome Ministry Team with Vicky Rankin, coordinated the Perk project and Carrie Regan was also instrumental in providing the wall of youth missions photos and making some changes to the interior. Many thanks to all who paved the way for the Perk improvements.
P.S. Come back the evening of Friday, April 20 at 7 pm for the last concert in the PVUMC Community Concert Series: Jazz at the Perk! No tickets needed; donations gratefully accepted at the event. Register for free tickets at https://pvumc-concerts.eventbrite.com and share the Facebook event with your network of friends.
