Sign up for PVUMC’s Holiday Blood Drive, December 2
Donating blood is a life-saving gift. Every year, Paradise Valley United Methodist Church hosts a blood drive, and this year, the church’s Caring Ministries Team has partnered again with the American Red Cross for a holiday blood drive from 8 am-12:15 pm on Sunday, December 2 in the Fellowship Center. Register online at www.redcrossblood.org.
If you are eligible to give blood, we encourage you to sign up to give on the morning of Sunday, December 2, beginning at 8 am.
Use the easy online sign up, and search for “PVUMC” or by zipcode “85253.”
Appointments are available every 15-30 minutes, and the donation usually takes up to one hour.
If you prefer to call to make an appointment or need more information, dial 1-800-RED-CROSS (733-2767). Alternatively, there will be a sign-up table on the patio outside worship on November 18 and 25. Some walk-in appointments may be available the day of the event.
Blood Donors should drink plenty of fluids in order to be well-hydrated starting at least 24 hours in advance of donating. Donors should also eat a hearty meal before donating and should avoid fatty foods, such as hamburgers, fries, or ice cream. Snacks and fluids will be provided at the Blood Drive, and you’re welcome to stop by the Perk before or after your donation in support of youth missions.
Thank you for giving blood and saving lives.
