Sunday School: Family Sundays and Summer

Child-Friendly Worship and Family Sundays

At the 11 am service in the Chapel, we have a designated Children’s Corner, where kids can be kids every Sunday.

Praise Paks for children are available inside the entrance of the Chapel or Sanctuary for children to use during all our worship services. Use the pack while you worship, and return it when you’re done so we can refill it with goodies for the following week.

The Child Care Center is open for children age 6 weeks-36 months every Sunday.

During the summer, we offer Summer Sunday Camp at 9:30 am. Occasionally, on holiday weekends during the summer and throughout the year, only Preschool classes meet at 9:30 am, and children kinder-4th grade are welcome to join their parents in worship in lieu of classes. Please see the church calendar for youth classes and schedule changes.

No matter which church service you attend, your children are always welcome to worship with you.Thoughtful Young Man

Summer Sundays and Holiday Weekends

  • 9:30 and 11 am – The Child Care Center is open every Sunday for children age 6 weeks-36 months.
  • 9:30 am – Every Sunday during the summer, Kinder-6th grade children are invited to join us for the beginning of worship, and are escorted to and from the worship service for classes by their teachers. On Family Sundays, the older children remain in worship. Praise Paks are available. Classes for ages 3-5 are held every Sunday during worship in the summer. Classes will be held for kinder-6th grade on every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month and holiday weekends, which are Family Sundays.
  • 11 am – Children are an integral part of this alternative service, which is more lively, reflective and invites participation of everyone attending, even children. The service includes child-friendly activities and experiences. There’s also a Godly Play class offered for preschool-kinder age children. Join us for this distinctively different service, held in the Chapel with the Praise Band every Sunday this summer.
  • Communion Sundays and Holiday Weekends – On the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sundays) and on holiday weekends like Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day, elementary-age children will remain in worship with you for the entire service at the 9:30 am worship service. We also schedule Family Sundays at 9:30 am the Sunday after Thanksgiving and on the Sunday after Christmas.
