How to Get Involved with Paradise Valley United Methodist Church
Fellowship at Paradise Valley United Methodist Church is our way of connecting with others in the church and in the community. By providing opportunities to learn, serve and have fun together, we create a community that supports our faith and each other. Check the events calendar and join us when you can for any or all of our events.
Every year, we host a Trunk or Treat event to celebrate Halloween, a family Christmas celebration and a movie night. We also have hosted a “Snack and Pack” event at Thanksgiving to donate, pack and deliver Thanksgiving food boxes to families and seniors living in temporary housing at UMOM New Day Centers, Arizona’s largest homeless shelter.
Connectional Ministries is the second half of the “Fellowship and Connectional” ministry team, which helps match people’s gifts and passions with opportunities to serve Jesus Christ at Paradise Valley United Methodist Church. One of our big events is the Meet & Greet event held in January every year.
Everyone can be in ministry. We recognize potential in each person, and believe people are most energized and effective when they are involved in something related to their passions. You can make a difference using the unique abilities and interests God gave you, and we can help.
Contact our Connectional Ministries Director to discuss how you can match your interests and passions with specific volunteer opportunities in our many ministries and programs. How would you like to be involved at PVUMC? If you have an idea for a program or ministry that is not currently offered, please discuss that with our Connectional Ministries Director. We want you to be connected to others, the church and the communities we serve.
