Today is Why Wednesday! Each week we hear from our members as to WHY they serve! Today Bill and Peggy Howard share their WHY: "Bill and I have been attending PVUMC since 1998 moving to Arizona from Chicago. Being the daughter of a Methodist minister, service was modeled by my parents. We have had the joy of having 4 generations attending PVUMC. We enjoy serving others because Jesus modeled that for us. I love working with the youth as Camp Nurse at Mingus Mountain Camp and at Vacation Bible Camp. Bill and I have made life long friends at PVUMC. We enjoy serving in any way we can." #pvumc ... Record time! We have a winner for this week! Congratulations to Meghan who guessed correctly - The Fellowship Hall/Center. Check back next week for your chance to play and win!
Congratulations to Monica for winning last week's trivia contest!

The first person to get the correct answer, on this Facebook post or today's Instagram trivia post, gets this awesome coffee mug with the cross and flame filled with candy that Monica is holding in the pic! We ask that the winner contacts the church office 602-840-8360 to schedule a time to pick up the mug.

Are you ready? Get set...Go! The building on our campus that currently houses our library, gift shop and child care, was originally used for what main purpose before the renovation in the 1990's?

Good luck!

Today is Why Wednesday! Longtime member and dedicated volunteer, Tawn Watkins, shares her "Why".
"Since 1984 I’ve been attending Paradise Valley United Methodist Church - 35 years. In that time I’ve had the privilege of sitting under wonderful pastors that have grown my faith, participated in numerous classes, served as a Stephen Leader, led women’s retreats, and was Caring Ministries director for 12 years. I pray The Holy Spirit blows like a fresh wind over us, guiding our path, growing our numbers and most of all our hearts."

Join us this Sunday at our traditional service at 9:30am or modern service Ignite at 11:00am.

Be sure to read and observe the directional signs on Lincoln Drive by our church, we wouldn't want you to be ticketed! If you are heading west from Tatum Blvd. on Lincoln Drive, you cannot turn left into the east parking lot. However, you are able to turn left into the west parking lot coming from the same direction. You are able to turn left onto Lincoln Drive as you head out of either parking lot. Read more about the construction and schedule here: www.paradisevalleyaz.gov/691/9083/EPCOR-Water-Main-Project ...
