Welcome to Paradise Valley United Methodist Church (PVUMC), God’s Love in Action.

Paradise Valley United Methodist Church (PVUMC) invites you to be part of our all-embracing, all-engaging church in the community.

We offer three worship services most Sundays at 8, 9:30 and 11 am. Each is distinctive, but all embody our mission to be God’s love in action.

  • 8 am Chapel — traditional and intimate
  • 9:30 am Sanctuary — traditional in the larger sanctuary, with organ and choir
  • 11 am Chapel — contemporary service with a band
  • Sunday School for all ages: 2 years old to 12th grade at 9:30 am, with some adult classes at 9:30 and 11 am
  • 11 am children’s corner and a Preschool/Kinder Godly Play class
Our 11 am alternative, contemporary worship features the Ignite Band in our smaller chapel and our newest preacher, Christopher Wurpts. Young Adults meet after this service and at 9:30 am
  • See the calendar for Sunday worship, weekly classes, and programs at pvumc

In addition to worship and Sunday mornings, Journeys small groups at pvumc are designed to help you connect with God and each other. We encourage you to engage in learning, service, advocacy, and mission opportunities here in your own community and worldwide.

As a church, we are committed to serving God in our world and caring for everyone, from children and youth to older adults. As United Methodists, we practice an open and inclusive faith.

Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, you are welcome here. Find meaning and purpose at PVUMC. Be God’s love in action.
